A dense, evergreen shrub valued for its glossy dark green foliage and clean, tidy appearance. Excellent for hedges, topiary, or specimen plantings. Produces clusters of fragrant white flowers in spring, followed by small black berries. Tolerates pruning, heat, and a variety of soils once established.
